One of my very favorite GKAF Rito 837 daughters and out of VDAR Lucy 4198. I feel this cow has raised one of the top, if not our very best, calf each year for the 3 years she has been in production.

Production record: BW 3@99, WW 3@107, YW 3@104, %IMF 3@111, RE 2@103. As you can see she has made pathfinder with her first 3 calves.

Lucy 221's individual performance: BW 72; Adj. WW 535; Adj. YW 1050; Adj. Scan Wt. 1129; Adj. %IMF 4.64; Adj. REA 11.2

For those who have seen her Bandolier 1916 son she is nursing this year (2006) have all said this has to be the bull you are keeping to help replace his sire.

Our cows get no special treatment. They go to work in the pasture and what they bring in is what they do all by themselves. Lucy 221 is no exception. She has that depth of body, spring of rib and thickness herself and she gets her calves off to a tremendous start and they continue to perform very well after they are weaned. This shows up in the weaning and yearling weights along with the ultra sound measurements in her calves..

Do not consider using this donor's genetics in your herd if you don't want high maternal growth. She is a calf raising fool herself and you just can't help seeing her calves among  their contemporaries.

She will put the cow back into the cowherd.
