Notice: The ACS Associate program has been approached by many semen distributors, bull studs, and embryo businesses who want to become ACS Associates for the purpose of having a link to their web page in order to sell semen or embryos off of their business web site and not through ACS. This is a conflict of interest to the ACS business and it's sellers who sell off of the ACS Classifieds. Therefore we cannot allow semen and embryo business to become ACS Associates to use the ACS data base for their web site sales. If the semen and embryo businesses want to sell through ACS they will have to do like other individuals, distributors, and dealers do and list the product you want sold on the ACS Classifieds. Now for the vehicle that is making ACS one of the hottest websites going. Becoming an ACS Associate. The advantage of becoming an ACS Associate is, we take what you have to say directly to the homes of thousands of cattle producers by our newsletter (e-mail blasts). We have people signing up everyday to receive this e-mail blast. People just see the merit that ACS has to offer. This e-mail blast goes out every Friday and sometimes on Wednesday as well, telling people what is new on ACS or what the ACS Associates have to offer. It is one of the most powerful tools in the beef industry today as far as advertising your genetics to thousands of progressive cattle producers across the country. It just makes no sense to spend the money on creating and keeping a website updated, then putting it out on the web with the millions and millions of other websites and hoping people will find you. Even if you are on a page with hundreds of websites of the same nature, hoping to gain more traffic to your site, you know as well as I do that people are not going to look at each and every one of them on that page, looking for something new, unless you spend more money in advertising, telling people to look at what is new on your website. At ACS, we take your site directly to the people who are in the cattle business through our e-mail blast. By becoming an ACS Associate, any time you want to tell them what you have for sale or bring to their attention something that you want them to see on your web site, simply e-mail me and I will include that in the e-mail blast for that week. No other cattle website does this that I am aware of, nor lets you speak directly to other cattle producers by an e-mail. It is a powerful tool and it works. If you have an existing web site the cost to become an ACS Associate is a one time charge of $50.00 to hook it up to our ACS Associate page and $120.00 per year to leave it on ACS for 12 months. We no longer offer a 6 month plan. You will be placed on the ACS Associate page that when people can click on your farm or ranch name, it takes them directly to your website. If you do not have a web site, I recommend you contact someone who builds web pages and get your self a web site. After your site has been created you then can become an ACS Associate by paying the above Associate fees and we will hook up your site on the ACS Associate page when you e-mail us your URL.
