Notice to Sellers
 As of 07/15/2011 There will be a minimum of $5.00 selling fee for AI certificates selling from the date posted forward. If the AI certs sell for more than $50.00 each a 10% commission will be charged.

 As of 11/01/2015 As the seller you must send me the dollar amount you want to net per straw for semen and embryo sales. ACS will list your listings at a price that is a minimum (but not limited to) 10% selling fee increase over your net price. (It has to be worth the seller and ACS's while.) If it sells off of the ACS site the seller will be paid what they wanted to net from the sale. A 5% selling fee is on livestock sales that are $200.00 or above.

 With the addition of the Special Price Semen category, there will be a
 minimum charge of $1.00 per straw selling fee.

WANTED...
Wanted Your Insurance Business When Shipping Semen, Embryos, or Livestock Here is a name of a person insuring semen and embryos for a time frame of when the shipping is to take place. You will have to contact them for all the details but it is real straight forward.
They will need the name of the bull or donor, how many units, the purchase price, who the shipping company is, where it is being shipped from, where it is being shipped to, and how long will it take to ship it.
I know that there will be a minimum charge because they obviously have to cover the cost of their business. The charge of what ever the policy is will have to come from them. If the insured value is above their minimum price they then charge a percentage of the insured value. You may call, Jerry Gay at 901-276-2855.  His fax number is 901-276-0758.

 
EMBRYOS FOR SALE
Rules on ACS.  If you as a buyer say you want to purchase something off of the ACS Classifieds and you receive a bill, you own it and we expect payment in 30 days.

If you as a seller sell something off of this site, you cannot send the money back to the buyer because of a change of mind or circumstances unless you contact the buyer and the buyer contacts me and says it is alright. If the buyer says it is alright, you will not get the selling fee returned and you must pay the full selling price to the buyer. 

The seller is responsible to provide to the buyer all the paper work for the collection of embryos the seller is selling on the ACS embryo pages.

This business has always been on the honor system and your word is your bond. If it is fractured, you will not be able to buy or sell off of this site.

Notice: As of  03/04/10. We are not putting any new listings of animals that are suspects or known carriers of genetic defects. I have explained in e-mails of some chances of problems of liability to people who want to try and sell suspect or proven genetic defect carriers but the animals keep coming and I am not the watch dog. 

I have not went through all the ads on the embryo pages of available suspect or carrier animals as I don't have the time but no new ones will be allowed. 

I do not want it to come back on you or ACS with someone saying "I did not see or there has not been any mention or discloser saying the suspect or carrier animal that is selling is/was a suspect or known carrier of a defect" Nor do I want it to say "You are buying at your own risk" so I am eliminating the problem. 

If anyone clicks on an old ad that has a suspect or carrier animal in the listing and they are not aware of the carrier condition I will tell them to contact the AAA and ask them about the animal in question before they buy it from the seller. ACS will not be involved with the sale. 
 
A change in the format on the Embryo Page is going into effect. It will be modeled after the Semen page.
There will no longer be photos allowed nor long descriptions on the Embryo pages. It will have the number of embryos, DT or LT, grade, Donor and Reg# sire used, and price.

This will stop the time outs that I am getting from the server and errors it sends to me as loading up so slow. Too much rate and space is being used.
